Efficiently oversee technical projects, ensuring on-time completion within budget limits.
Take the lead in intricate product and process design and development, aligning with set goals.
Evaluate and improve current product designs, actively seeking cost-efficient enhancements.
Offer technical assistance to customers, suppliers, and different departments as needed.
Assess and endorse tasks performed by team members under the supervision of the Product Engineering Manager.
Qualifications
An engineering degree is a prerequisite (P. Eng or EIT near completion).
Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical design, encompassing materials properties, selection, and stress analysis.
Established history of effectively overseeing technical projects from conception to production.
Robust background in teamwork within technical settings and mentoring junior personnel.
Proficient in comprehending and interpreting technical specifications, industry norms, and manufacturing records.
Familiarity with diverse manufacturing procedures and an understanding of their capabilities and constraints.
Proficiency in using mechanical testing tools, methodologies, and a solid grasp of the ISO9001 Quality System.
