Responsibilities
The successful applicant will work in collaboration with the project team and will focus on:
Supporting the coordination and management of the EAM Reconfiguration Project
Implementation (Phase 1).
Overseeing various aspects of the project and providing direct assistance to ensure timely
execution.
Liaising with the Project Lead and other project team members to ensure that the project
adheres to scope, schedule, and budget.
Monitoring project status and developing and updating the scope, schedule, risk register and
budget as needed.
Creating status reports and providing them to the project team.
Coordinating with different departments as needed.
Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, tracking attendance, etc.
Completing any related tasks assigned by the Project Lead in an efficient and timely manner.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
5 or more years of project management experience on large, complex, enterprise-wide IT
projects.
Thorough knowledge and experience with Agile practices and frameworks.
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Ability to clearly communicate with the project team and stakeholders, manage risks and issues,
and monitor progress to ensure that the project stays on track.
Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution.
Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution.
Ability to document, analyze and assess a variety of information, identify priorities and
resources and propose alternatives
Good understanding of change management, especially as related to Information Systems
projects.
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Experience working with the EAM software system is an asset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designations are an
asset.
In addition, this position requires the ability to:
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external
contacts.
Provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision when required
Maintain confidentiality.
