Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Engineering Degree preferred (any discipline). A combination of a degree or diploma in a related field (such as Business) would be accepted in conjunction with sufficient industry experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive career experience in designing, developing, implementing, or operating oil, gas, or power transmission assets
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience developing energy infrastructure projects
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in developing or implementing liquids pipeline and facility projects
• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience
• Knowledge of industry best practices for liquids pipeline and facility design, construction, and operations in Canada and the US
• Customer-service mindset with a track record of completing quality deliverables for internal and/or external customers
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to independently manage multiple and competing priorities
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
• Registered Professional Engineer in Canada or the US
• Proficiency with cost estimating and/or project scheduling software
• Experience working directly with midstream, or pipeline operating company is an asset
• Commercial and/or Operations experience in the energy sector
• Experience in performing pipeline hydraulics simulations
