We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic project manager who has knowledge and experience in pipeline integrity project execution to take on the role of a Project Manager for the Liquids Pipe Integrity Execution team. A significant portion of the time in this role in 2023/2024 will be spent on the execution of the integrity program developed in response to the Corrective Action order issued by PHMSA for an incident on the system in December 2023.
The successful candidate will manage integrity projects across both the USA and Canada and will be mainly responsible for the execution of the Corrective Action Order Integrity Dig program. Other projects that may be supported by this position include In-line Inspection runs, and Weather and Outside Forces/Damage Prevention projects for all liquids assets. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to safely execute the assigned programs, on budget/schedule, and the ability to demonstrate cost efficiency while executing wok safety and with quality and meeting internal governance requirements

Responsibilities
• Manage the full project life cycle for various Pipeline Integrity Projects (Digs, ILI, etc.)
• Manage multiple projects and contractors simultaneously while delivering the projects safely on time, budget, and on schedule.
• Liaise with internal and external groups (engineering, land, regulatory, environment) to understand project objectives and to develop the project budget and schedule.
• Identify and mitigate risks, through stakeholder engagement, risk register, plan and control.
• Work with Supply Chain Management through the full life cycle of external contractor engagement including development of procurement and/or contracting strategies, scopes of work, bid preparation, evaluation and award.
• Support the development of project cost estimates.
• Work with project controls to capture all project costs accurately and provide detailed justifications for variance from approved budgets and schedule.
• Ensure all executed projects are completed in accordance with PDS requirements, including the development of any required documentation
• Work closely with external contractors and internal inspection to manage at-site activities, emphasizing safety, quality, compliance, and cost/schedule efficiencies.
• Assist team leadership with preparation of formal reporting on project status.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Post-Secondary degree in a related field
• 5 years or more of progressive, relevant experience in pipeline or pipeline integrity projects
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience with program management
• Prior experience with Pipe Integrity Digs and Inline Inspection tool runs
• Project Management Professions (PMP) Certification
