Responsibilities
• A minimum five (5) years of project management experience or equivalent.
• Plan, direct, and report on business process change or similar project activities by consistently monitoring project benefits, resources and status and creating documents such as project plans, action logs, communication plans, status reports and post implementation reviews so that the project is implemented as planned.
• Develop project plans and risk management plans for business process change or similar projects by identifying, analyzing, and monitoring risks for effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Complete project management activities including scoping, planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting on project tasks by using intermediate skills in Microsoft Office as well as project management programs to fulfill the organization’s business needs.
• Maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders through regular reporting and communication using excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills enabling timely progression of projects.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation, preferred
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
• Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
- Experience building and maintaining project schedules, including estimating level of effort for project resources
- Experience working in a team environment with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and strategic considerations.
- Proactive and good at building relationships with key stakeholders to help advance projects
- Experience tracking project progress and reporting on multiple projects
- Must be comfortable coaching people on project management, planning and resourcing forecasting processes
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to present key program information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Must have knowledge of MS Office Project.
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation, an asset
- Knowledge of tools such as SAP, Tableau, Power BI, Business Warehouse an asset
- Utility experience an asset
