Our large retail client is looking for a Project Manager for Exit Channel and one inventory where you will focus on complex projects and inter-dependent initiatives within US/Canada.
This is a hybrid role, work location is Mississauga.
It's a 12 months contract with a potential extension or hired perm.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans for the implementation of each initiative including key deliverables and detailed timelines that manage the interdependencies between these and other initiatives.
- Ensure clear and effective communications across project teams and retail functions – manage key stakeholders to ensure visibility and alignment.
- Ensure performance against the plan for timeline, budget, and project deliverables.
- Provide line-of-sight to the leadership regarding status, issues, risks, and required decisions across projects.
- Ongoing issue resolution to develop optimal trade-offs and recommend optimal solutions across Planning, Finance, DC Operations, and Technology functions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improving inventory management and operational processes from returns through exit channels.
- Tracking of project budget and change requests.
- Provide input into the long-range planning process and align leadership on the prioritized roadmap for future rollout and enhancements of Exit Channel and One Inventory.
- Coordination and project management across multiple operational, technical, and support functions including Planning, Finance, DC Op’s (including owned DCs and 3PLs), Technology (Distribution, Planning, Financial), Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain Strategy
- Supports the development of clear and organized project plans and streamlined communications to successfully deliver these initiatives on schedule and budget.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Business, Engineering, or technical area. (MBA / master’s degree preferred.)
- Min 5-7+ years’ experience in consulting, project management, or a similar field (Retail or Consumer Products preferred).
- Strong business, leadership, planning, and organizing skills.
- Proven experience in project management with multiple functions and business partners
- Functional expertise in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/ Fulfillment – DC Operations and understanding of Returns Management a plus.
- Experience working with inventory and fulfillment systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensus.
- Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
