Our client, a leader in the education industry is looking for a Project Manager who has strong experience implementing, upgrading and integrating Peoplesoft Campus Solutions. Will work remotely to start.


the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions - PUM
Technical Upgrade and PeopleTools upgrade (refer to #2 below).

Experience and Qualifications

To effectively address these deliverables, the following work experience and qualifications are required:

• Experience from at least three PeopleSoft upgrade projects (Application, PUM, and PeopleTools Upgrade) as a PeopleSoft Technical Lead/Project Manager with a thorough understanding of configuration and integration between major functional areas within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2

• 5+ years of experience managing large, complex projects with proven PeopleSoft project execution

• Thorough understanding of PeopleSoft 9.2 technology, implementations, upgrades, customization, and configurations, as well as operational management experience.

• PMP certification (preferred)

• A superior understanding of the business process and underlying technology of Peoplesoft Campus Solution 9.2 is preferred

Deliverables and Objectives

1) The responsibilities of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

a. Creating and maintaining the project artifacts/documentation listed below and ensuring that these documents are accessible in line with the Project

Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Guide
- Project Charter,
- Project Communication Plan,
- Project Management Plan
- Work Breakdown Structure,
- Resource Management Plan,
- Project schedule with proposed Milestones,
- Risk Register
- Procurement Plan
- Stakeholder Register
- Change Requests
- Final Closeout
- Lessons Learned Documentation

b. Facilitating and defining the project scope, objectives, and deliverables

c. Assumption of responsibility for project outcomes, timelines, milestones, and
budget

d. Applying project planning and project management best practices to monitor all aspects of the operational objectives of the assigned project(s)

e. Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on milestone completion throughout the life of the project

f. Directing, coordinating, and controlling the completion of the day-to-day tasks required to meet the objective of the project

g. Scheduling and facilitating meetings, including preparing meeting agendas, communicating meeting minutes, and tracking issues and action items as needed

h. Coordinating with resource managers (e.g., the Manager, Student Lifecycle team; Manager, Application Services) to identify resource requirements/gaps and assign staff to scheduled tasks

i. Working with partners and team members collaboratively to identify and solve functional area issues, design solutions, develop conceptual models, translate functional area requirements into technical requirements, and support design and implementation of enterprise application solutions

j. Partnering with the architecture, security, development, and functional teams to ensure proposed solutions meet the business outcomes and objectives

k. Reviewing all relevant documentation and related materials and managing the document repository for each identified project

l. Reporting progress regularly to partners and senior management

m. Identifying and communicating any risks, issues, or impediments to progress and managing impediment mitigation plans

2) Projects include but are not limited to:
a. PeopleSoft Campus Solutions - PUM Technical Upgrade and PeopleTools upgrade (versions TBD)

i. PS Campus Solutions Application -1. Current version is: 9.2, Image 9
ii. People Tools - 1. Current version is 8.56.20

2. 8.56 Will be unsupported in April 2021
