· Demonstrable expertise in agile methodology with Scrum framework.
· Comfortable with presenting project readouts to Executive level audience
· Managing relationships and communication with all project stakeholders
· Develop and maintain effective and proactive relationships with all customers including suppliers and third parties
· Experienced in the delivery of projects in an agile an waterfall environment (Symcor has a combination of both)
· Exposure to or awareness of all phases of software development projects including analysis, systems design,
development and testing approaches
· 5 to 10 years of Project Management experience within IT (application development. (some infrastructure-related
experience is nice to have)
· PMP (ideal)
· Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual
improvement, empowerment, and growing transparency;
· Superb communication and presentation skills in providing pertinent and detailed information to clients and delivery
/ operational teams.

Responsibilities
•Manage projects of increased complexity with accountability to deliver multiple work streams including the creation
of project charters, high-level and detailed plans and implementation roadmaps ensuring the project scope is
scheduled in manageable components.
•Manage and oversee the efforts of inter-disciplinary teams to ensure direction from sponsor and SMEs is clear and
blockers are removed (including conducting regular project status meetings).
•Identify dependencies on other organizational projects or processes and provide thought leadership and
recommendations to sponsors on how to handle associated risks or issues.
•Develop proactive executive reporting on all project activities to the Portfolio Leadership Team and Executive
Steering Committee. Identify, anticipate, communicate and document issues and risks to achieving project goals and
provide mitigation recommendations to ensure timely action.
•Manage approved budgets and tracking costs to ensure project spend is aligned to scope. Closely monitor timelines
and financial budgets to proactively take action should any of the above be inconsistent with project plan.
•Prepare executive program reports, internal and external presentations concerning program scope, timelines,
activities, issues, budget and program status
•Adhere to company's project management methodology and business processes (e.g. change management).
•Ensure project artifacts are stored in a central repository and audit requirements are met.
•Manage project resources, estimates, project plans, WBS, risks, and dependencies by proactively engaging
stakeholders to understand issues and needs, and communicating status and remediation plans to sponsors.
Qualifications
•A minimum of 7 years of Project and/or Program Management experience managing project scope, schedule, and
budget. Experience in providing oversight of other project resources, and in reporting project updates.
•Experience in managing Legislative projects, Privacy and Data Governance projects and Compliance and Security
Remediation projects.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as engineering, computer science or business.
•Knowledge and experience in both Waterfall and Agile Methodology.
•PMI or equivalent certification is required.
•Scrum master experience required in order to manage project following Agile methodology as
appropriate/applicable.
•Flexible to work independently and collaboratively and have a proven ability to develop strong working relationships
with diverse stakeholders.
•Understanding of privacy laws and regulations is an asset.
