In this role you will take on the role of Senior Project Manager for the client's Internal Portfolio. As a leading provider of payment processing, customer communication, and data analytics services to major organizations across Canada, they are dedicated to helping clients harness the power of digital innovation. They are looking for a talented individual to lead projects related to Privacy and Data management, Legislative projects, Compliance and Data Security projects, Internal platform upgrades and migrations, and projects aimed at enhancing their internal processes and technical capabilities.
Banking experience is preferred
A strong background in Regulatory and Legislative projects is essential, as the role involves implementing various regulatory and legislative initiatives such as Bill 96, Bill C13, Bill 64, and the Accessibility Act.
Excellent communication skills are required, the role involves interactions with senior-level stakeholders.
Strong skills in budgeting, project tracking, and status reporting are essential, the candidate must manage all aspects of the project.
Experience in regulatory Compliance would be a plus.
The candidate should be a senior-level Project Manager with a minimum of 7+ years of Project Management experience.
The ability to manage projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments is crucial.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:
A background in delivering IT Development and Infrastructure projects.
A background in Regulatory and Legislative projects -you will be working on implementing several regulatory, legislative projects such as Bill 96, Bill C13, Bill 64, the Accessibility Act, etc...
An interest in today's rapidly evolving data landscape.
Proven experience managing and delivering project implementations within the financial services or insurance sectors using a structured project management methodology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong skills in organization, documentation, planning, record-keeping, and attention to detail.
A minimum of 7 years of Project and/or Program Management experience managing project scope, schedule, and budget, including oversight of other project resources and reporting project updates.
Experience in managing Legislative projects, Privacy and Data Governance projects, and Compliance and Security Remediation projects.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as engineering, computer science, or business.
Knowledge and experience in both Waterfall and Agile Methodology.
PMI or equivalent certification is required.
Scrum master experience required for managing projects following Agile methodology as appropriate/applicable.
Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively, with a proven ability to develop strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Understanding of privacy laws and regulations is an asset.
