Responsibilities
Preparing and distributing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to stakeholders such as property owners, investors, and management.
Developing and managing budgets for properties, including forecasting revenue and expenses, monitoring actual results against budget, and identifying areas for improvement.
Managing the accounts payable and receivable processes, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and collecting rent.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filing necessary tax returns.
Managing lease agreements and tenant billing, including calculating and collecting rent, common area maintenance charges, and other fees.
Managing cash flow, including reconciling bank accounts, preparing cash forecasts, and investing surplus cash.
Assisting with external audits, including providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
Collaborating with property managers to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelors in Accounting
1-4 years of experience
Bilingual (an asset)
Intermediate level of excel
