Responsibilities
*Ensure accuracy and compliance of property damage estimates submitted to the Claims department
*Identify and address any discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies with estimates.
*Communicate with field adjusters, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve any estimate-related issues.
*Contribute to process improvements through sharing your expertise, providing guidance, and offering insight on industry best practices.
Qualifications
*A minimum of 5 years’ Claims experience
*A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Project Management or Estimator role
*Strong Xactimate experience a must
*Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and construction practices
*IICRC certifications in water remediation and applied structural drying certification including WRT, ASF, AMRT, and FSRT considered an asset
*In depth knowledge of OBC and NBC requirements an asset
*Certification with asbestos and lead remediation considered an asset
*QAS, CET or equivalent experience in loss quantification
*Demonstrated experience in large loss quantification experience in excess of $500,000
