Provisioning/Maintenance/Diagnostics Engineering

Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking to join a growing and stable team in an exciting 12 month contract, full time hour’s opportunity? This role is would be part of an Integrated team of Provisioning, Diagnostics and Maintenance Engineering.

Monday to Friday, DAY shift in the London, Ontario area

Provisioning/Maintenance/Diagnostics responsibilities could include;
•Receive, organize, and document system specifications, engineering drawings, bill of materials, and vendor data
•Document the physical breakdown of the vehicle, assembly and/or subsystem(s) in accordance with applicable standards and approved customer maintenance concept
•Document and maintain the parts data in the Logistics Support Analysis Record database
•Develop/write recommended repair parts catalogues as part of overall development of technical manuals for specific systems
•Analyze vehicle system functionality and identify probable failure modes that could impact system performance/safety
•Identify and recommend specials tools and test equipment that the customer may require in order to effectively support their product
•Write clear, step-by-step instructions describing how to remove, repair and replace system components and assemblies
•Analysis of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical system functionality to determine most efficient troubleshooting methodology, perform FMEA of system/component
•Support development of fault insertion tools and non-destructive faults for use in validation of troubleshooting procedures
•Proactively support and communicate with other Engineering teams and departments
•Plan and track progress of assigned activities

Requirements;
•Completed University Degree or College Diploma in a technical discipline
•1 to 3 years relevant experience
•Knowledge in the operation, maintenance and integration of vehicle components and systems
•Demonstrated high levels of written and oral communications skills, interpersonal and organizational skills
•Ability to travel and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport

Preferred Qualifications;
•Experience with Team Center Visualization and Arbortext or other XML editing software
•Experience with Logistics Support Analysis Record software
•Experience developing Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals
