    Our client is a leader in building systems in Western Canada and with their growth, they are looking to bring an AP/Purchasing Administrator to join their team!

    Reports to: Purchasing Specialist

    This position requires candidates to work in office Monday to Friday ON SITE in Coquitlam.

    Responsibilities
     Responsible for ensuring accurate job costing is maintained across all projects
     Receive and code all invoices, review for pricing discrepancies, PO, and coding accuracy
     Prepare, purchasing files, reports, and price lists using MS Excel
     Maintain pricing database to be shared with Estimating Department
     Develop a thorough knowledge of products used throughout the company’s divisions
     Provide purchasing support for other Departments
     Assist with AP data entry when available
     Create and modify POs as needed

    Qualifications
     Minimum 1 year of experience in a Purchasing or AP environment preferred
     Construction industry experience is preferred
     Attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills
     Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a fast‐paced work environment
     Post‐secondary education in supply chain management or business administration is an asset
