The MLA may also complete relevant documentation and paperwork, labeling, manage confidential patient contact information/registration and support equipment maintenance, and other duties as may be required within the lab. QualificationsOur ideal candidates have completed formal education in a medical lab technician (or medical lab assistant) program at the college level and have hands-on experience in a diagnostic or hospital lab setting. We are ideally seeking certification by the Medical Laboratory Professionals Association of Ontario but that is not required.
