The capability includes deployment and management of Windows Server to over 80 locations globally, covering VMWare and Azure environments.The automation platform is used by external outsourcers who manage servers for our enterprise, along with internal teams at certain locations.As part of expanding the automation capability, a team is being created to develop Ansible Playbooks in addition to providing a coaching role to build the skills of existing operational staff.The position of Ansible Expert will be one of a team of automation experts covering the northern and southern hemispheres.Each Ansible Expert will be assigned an operational resource to mentor.The mentoring objective is to build the operational resources skills to a sufficient level so they can develop automation playbooks.Responsibilities1. End to end responsibility to develop Ansible playbooks for automation of key Windows Server actions.o End to end responsibility includes the discovery of existing manual procedures, defining Playbook design, producing Playbook code, testing Playbook code, documentation (as-built design and test results), and documenting process checklists for support teams.o While there are other technical experts, you will be working independently.
