Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with several development teams: software, firmware, hardware
- Ensure the quality of controllers products in development before their release to production (70% of the work is manual testing of the hardware products in their test rooms and 30% of the work is to do automation tests that automate the UI of the controllers, so the software part of the controllers with their internal tool: Ranorex).
- Establish test strategy and planning
- Write test cases and scenarios and develop regression test plans
- Execute test cases and produce test reports
Qualifications
The main skills to have:
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance (manual or automation) and to be interested to do manual testing on hardware products
- A big interest in software automation testing on Ranorex and to learn about it
- Computer, network and web knowledge
- DEC or Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering
- Ideally bilingual or functional in written and spoken English (they are offering lessons how to write and speak French)
- Very organized, methodical person
- Teamwork, leadership, proactive, quick learner
Assets that will be considered :
- Knowledge in microelectronics and programming
- Knowledge in HVAC and building control
- Knowledge of LonWorks and/or BACnet protocols
- Knowledge of the Azure DevOps environment
- Knowledge of test automation (Ranorex)
