We are hiring for an Information Security Analyst on a full-time/permanent basis. The successful candidate joining our clients technology team will be energetic, enthusiastic and reliable, and will have the opportunity to participate inthe delivery of financial services industry leading software!Under the direction of the Manager of Application and Technology Support, the Information Security Analyst will develop and maintain the corporate Information Security program, administer and monitor information security systems, and manage the cybersecurity infrastructure for an international workforce across two Canadian data centers and Azure cloud. The role will have responsibility for activities relating to the building of information securitytechnologies and processes.Advantages-Be a part of the initial build out and growth of a SOC team-Exponential growth opportunities-Competitive compensation and benefits package. -Have an impact and see that impact evolve!Responsibilities• Plan, manage, and execute initiatives of the corporate Information Security program utilizing projectmanagement best practices during regular and after business hours periods.• Analyze existing security systems and procedures and proactively seek out improvements to the program.• Develop an internal Application Security program to promote secure coding practices with the softwaredevelopment team, and perform threat modelling, and static and dynamic code scanning.• Improve on the external vulnerability scanning program by developing an internal program for application,network, and server vulnerability scanning.• Perform regular daily and weekly cybersecurity operational tasks to ensure that information securitytechnologies (such as intrusion prevention, data loss prevention, anti-virus and anti-malware prevention,etc.) operate optimally.• Review cybersecurity policies and reports to identify violations, intrusion attempts, or information securityweaknesses. Remediate, or raise issues with the Technical Support and System Administration teams toremediate.• Review technical configurations in a Microsoft and Cisco environment to determine/enhance theparameters to meet industry accepted hardening standards such as NIST, CIS, SANS, etc.• Perform security due diligence of third-party systems, and prepare documentation and respond to third-party due diligence requests.• Conduct security product research and assess their appropriateness for the organization.• Perform security incident investigations and document findings/root causes.• Respond to cybersecurity alerts and notifications from users and technologies, and clients and vendors.Qualifications• 5+ years of hands-on experience in administering Information Security technologies, Ciscoenvironment experience is an asset (ASA FirePOWER, ISE, Umbrella, CES).• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Microsoft and Azure environment, configuration of information security in a M365 environment is an asset.• Information Security certifications, including but not limited to CISSP, SSCP, CISA, GIAC, and CRISC.• Experience in managing enterprise level anti-virus and anti-malware hosted solutions.-5+ years of Information Security experience.• 3+ years of network and server infrastructure administration experience.• 3+ Experience with computer security procedures and protocols and experience with Security Information, Event Management tools (SIEM), Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Next-Gen Firewalls, Network Behavior Analysis tools, Endpoint Detection and Response products, and Network Detection andResponse products.• Knowledge of current network and endpoint security technologies is an asset (next-generation tools, APTtools, and tools utilizing heuristics analysis for protection).Education• University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science (or equivalent experience in the field).• Preference will be given to applicants with relevant certificates and training in Information SecuritySummaryJoin an organization that has been named to several national Great Places to Work lists, including Best in Financial Services, Best for Inclusion, Bestfor Youth, and Best for Women.Reach out to email@example.com with direct interest in this opportunity today!Randstad Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the diversity of Canada.
