Responsibilities
Lead in effectively coordinating project QA activities: environments, resources, deliverables, and ensure successful implementation via QA processes, monitoring of QA output and deliverables, planning, checklists, contingency, risks.
Build test strategies and plans, and ensure timely execution in collaboration with PO and PM.
Analyze, define and translate functional and technical specifications into test requirements, build test cases, lead and coordinate activities around test data creation.
Work in collaboration with the Product Owner and the Squad to prioritize the test ‘stories’.
Attend Agile project ceremonies to report on the status of tests, communicate problems.
Ensure that customer needs are met with the highest quality.
Identify and implement QA best practices.
Lead in test documentation and in the creation of test case baselining/regression suites to facilitate the reuse of such documentation in the testing of future deliveries.
Mentor junior team members and optimize the performance of test team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or DEC in a field related to IT or any other combination of experience and related training deemed relevant.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Quality Assurance.
Strong coding experience in Python and Java. Good understanding of building test automation frameworks and scripts for back-end systems is a must.
In-depth knowledge of test best practices and test development tools.
Good understanding of the CI/CD concept.
Good knowledge of Confluence and JIRA (and their Test plugin).
A team player with an analytical mind and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English, French is nice to have.
Able to establish priorities, manage them and readjust yourself in case of change.
Persevering and have problem-solving skills.
Available to work outside normal business hours (evening, etc.), with our Hong Kong office.
