Our client in the Life Sciences field has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Quality Control Technician to join their team!

In this role, responsibilities would include:
• Quality Control release testing and performance testing of commercial chromatography products
• Preparation of protein and buffer solutions using standard lab techniques (pH, conductivity, UV absorbance)
• Working with HPLC/FPLC equipment for direct QC tests: Waters HPLC, GE Akta Pure, GE Akta Process
• Perform detailed technical procedures, analyze and communicate test results to team members and supervisors
• Record and document all activities and results according to company standards
• Cleaning and maintenance of QC testing equipment and laboratory space

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Bio-Technology
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 regulated environment
• Strong laboratory skills and the ability to perform varied tasks in a disciplined, consistent and reliable manner
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a small team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
