Responsibilities
In this role you will...
• Assist in Shipping & Receiving, as needed. This includes final inspection, boxing, labelling, shipping and working with couriers and/or trucking companies, as required.
• Continue to be involved with CCB’s Health & Safety programs concentrating on working with machine and people’s safety through work instructions, safe operating procedures and ongoing training of employees on same.
• Assist in the development of new processes or procedures for the improved efficiency of CCB processes and quality.
• Perform calibration and approve products and accessories that meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Manage repair and calibration of assessment tools and measurement of equipment inclusive of general purpose.
• Perform various complex duties classified as moderate inclusive of calibration, maintenance and repairs of tools and equipment’s in line with established SOP’s.
• Performs the audits in accordance with the audit plan developed
• Develop new methods and procedures to eliminate problems and improve quality. This includes the
creation and maintenance of production procedure manuals.
• Process / time studies to find better ways of production improving productivities.
Qualifications
The candidate that would be the best fit for this role has...
• University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Quality Control/Lean Manufacturing Certificate or equivalent experience, an asset
• A driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills
• Proficient MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, an asset
• Effective use of technology, instruments, tools and information systems
• Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, teamwork, time management and interpersonal skills
