Responsibilities
Bring together the quality activities of all manufacturing segments for overall planning
and priorities in line with the objectives of the company.
Review and resolve quality control problems/concerns with the quality team and others
including vendors, customers, quality control personnel, and any personnel related to
production.
Lead team to improve quality control and quality assurance procedures including
documentation, reporting, and performance metrics.
Coordinate and lead audits with various OEM customers.
Develop and fortify existing quality inspection requirements based on specific part
standards, as defined by internal engineering and customer criteria.
Ensure collaboration between quality team and other departments throughout the
organization.
Enhance and manage internal/external corrective and preventive action processes.
Working with internal teams to enact vendor quality improvement initiatives.
Coordinates and assists with vendor inspections and product inspections, as
necessary.
Coordinate between quality teams in Canada and Overseas.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality leadership role in a Manufacturing Setting.
VDA 6.3 Certification Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
In-depth understanding of quality procedures.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools and quality related software.
Able to travel within Canada, the USA, and internationally, as required.
