This is a contract position for 1 year with a possible extension or hired perm.
We are looking for someone who can commute within 45-60 minutes of driving.

Responsibilities
•Responsible for the leadership and safety of quality team members
•Co-ordinate FSQA programs and maintain certification
•Manage the supplier food safety program
•Manage non-conformance programs with team
•Review of ON HOLD product and resolution
•Respond to all customer complaints and make recommendations and implement corrective actions
•Provide training to direct reports to ensure all program specifications are met
•Co-ordinate activities required for government and customer audits
•Manage department expenses including supplies and equipment
•Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
•Bachelor of Science degree
•Minimum 5-10 years of managerial experience in a food processing environment
•Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well across all levels of the organization.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; especially excel
•Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
•Strong understanding of the sanitation process in a food manufacturing facility
