We have a job opening in Acheson that needs to be filled immediately and are looking for an equipment operator with extensive experience in operating various machines in a warehouse setting. The candidate should have excellent material handling skills, a professional demeanor, and a strong focus on safety. While the role involves operating equipment, it also requires significant manual lifting of heavy objects. Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
-Working independently as well as with others depending on the assigned task.
-Flawless operation of a Reach truck
-Accurate order picking and putaway
-Working in a fast-paced environment
-Consistent communication with teammates and supervisors
-Consistent manual lifting up to 50lbs
-Standing, Bending, Walking for up to 8 hours a shift
Qualifications
Qualifications we would like to see:
-Comfortable with Computer use
-3+ years experience on reach truck
-An external ticket (Asset)
-2+ years experience in a warehouse setting
-Shipping/receiving experience is an asset
-Reliable transportation is a must, locations are not accessible by public transit
