What you need to know:
Duties:
- responsible for the safe and efficient operation of gantry crane
- unload rebar using the gantry crane and navigate it to the proper area

- load cut and shaped rebar onto the trailers for distribution
- communicate with fellow teammates to ensure a collaborative and safe environment
- you may be required to lift and move the rebar by hand when required and provide additional support to production employees
Shift Times Available:
Day Shift - 6:00AM - 2:00PM Monday to Friday OR
Afternoon Shift - 2:00PM TO 12:00AM 4 days, 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday
Wage: $25 to $30/hour based on experience
Location: Richmond, BC
Temporary to Permanent position

Responsibilities
-You will interact with drivers to transport loads
-You will learn how to operate gantry crane to move materials and orders onto and off of trailers, trucks and around yards
-You will be using your time management skills to manage the workflow of production and daily shipments
-You will operate a stand-up forklift to move finished skids and sometimes manually wrap the finished skids.
- You will be working outdoors and performing some heavy GL (moving Rebar)
Qualifications
- Recent experience operating gantry crane in an industrial facility
- Comfortable loading and unloading trucks in a bay area multiple times a day
- Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted as needed
- Strong communication skills + a collaborative mindset
- Safety-conscious mindset and basic math skills
- Must have your own transportation as there is no public transit available
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Comfortable and physically able to perform heavy general labour
