Randstad Victoria is now looking for a Billing Clerk for a law firm based in beautiful downtown Victoria!As the Billing Clerk, you will be performing a variety of administrative and billing dutiesThis role requires an enthusiastic, proactive individual with the ability to deliver incredible service and support, organization, collaboration. Opportunity: Full time permanentPay: 48k plus depending on expereinceHours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, flexible with hours, hybrid role working from home and officeAdvantages• Monday to Friday• Great experience from a well-established company• Start immediately• $48k plus depending on experience• Great location in downtown VictoriaResponsibilities•Enter operational/customer data in software system, works to identify missing or potential operational or service concerns, and communicates with appropriate groups as necessary to resolve.•Utilize databases, logs, and other sources to locate and verify information•Address internal and external customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, status, services, carriers, and other needs; forward complex or escalated customer needs as appropriate.•Assist with running and summarizing operational reports•Separate invoices into billing regions.•Prepare, verify, and process invoices.•Enter daily information from tickets to expedite month-end close procedures.•Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries.•Communicate with field personnel in matters regarding billing or customer accountsQualifications•Well-developed organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks & deadlines simultaneously•Must possess demonstrated customer service skills and ability•Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks•Self-starter with an ability to work independently and within a team environment•Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.•Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment•High school diploma required.
