This core role is key in supporting the Facilities Coordinator and Human Resources, all while working at the front Reception desk and assisting in the Mail Room. This position would be with a large Organization in the financial sector which would allow you the ability to network and be considered for permanent opportunities! This position is in Oakville and comes with the potential of extension based on the business circumstances.

Responsibilities
-Ask Covid screening questions to ensure that the visitors can be allowed on site
-Welcome guests as they arrive and update the visitor log as needed
-Oversee visitor intake ensuring each meeting is held correctly
-Manage communications via telephone, email, in-person inquiries from colleagues, clients, business partners, and all other parties
-Work closely with the HR team with tasks related to onboarding/offboarding of employees.
-Observe and report any security issues to IT or Human Resources as applicable.
-Maintain office cleanliness, ensuring workstation are kept tidy and professional
-Mailroom tasks, such as, inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services, and other correspondence as required.
-Oversee office supplies and services, supply replenishment (i.e. mailroom stationary, kitchens, boardrooms, printers, etc.).
-Varied special tasks supporting other areas of business
Qualifications
-Past experience in a reception or office administration role is a strong asset in this position
-Experience in courier distribution, mail sorting, scanning and office supply ordering.
-Excellent computer skills and adaptability with technologies.
-Strong organization and an effective written and verbal communication
-Ability to work well independently as well as with others
-Experience managing high traffic telephone systems
-Ability to keep busy in a slower paced environment
