Human Resources Business Partner
Central & West Region

Our client, a professional services firm, is looking for a dynamic and passionate HR Business Partner. You will partner with and provide support to key stakeholders throughout the region on employee relations, talent management, succession planning, training as well as leading integration and adoption of corporate HR initiatives. This position also assists in developing, implementing, monitoring and controlling programs and policies.

What you’ll be doing:
• Partner with c-suite, managers, peers, and employees to effectively support activities ranging from new hires, promotions, transfers, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, terminations and questions regarding policies, programs and compliance issues
• Acts as a first point of contact and employee/labour relations resource for Regional and Field/Site Managers
• Point person for all disciplines including letter writing, discipline determination
• Implements strategies which are consistent with a business focus
• Drive and coordinate Change Management from a corporate perspective in ensuring complete partnership with the business.
• Coordinates recruitment activities in collaboration with the internal talent acquisition team
• Valid driver’s license required - travelling by car required

Do you have the right qualifications?
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources Business Partner position, ideally supporting a regional business group
• University Degree with a focus in human resources
• CHRP designation an asset
• Knowledge and understanding of labour and employment laws and regulations.
• Strong customer service orientation and quick response attitude.
• Team player and relationship builder
• Proven leadership and business acumen
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
• Initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
