Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Hamilton/Stoney Creek, ON area - Healthcare
✔ Releasing Technician for the sterile compounding team at this facility
✔ Perform final release of designated pharmaceutical products, ensuring accuracy in production, labelling and components of the prescription
✔ Ensure that all prescriptions (new and refill) have been clinically reviewed and signed off by a Pharmacist, prior to releasing the product
✔ Perform TPN syringe checks and releases based on correct components and labelling
✔ Answers patient/caregiver, CCAC and other health care provider questions about patients’ prescription information and medication history, and knows when to refer the caller to a pharmacist
✔ Collaborate on compounding protocols under supervision
✔ Coordinate with the pharmacy team for orders and double checks
✔ Work with patient programs to fulfill pharmacy duties
Qualifications
