As a Release Manager with our client, you’ll receive:

Responsibilities
• Lead all release/change activity from planning through testing to deployment
• Develop risk management and contingency planning for releases of any size
• Work with Support and Operation teams to ensure operational readiness
• Communicate effectively at multiple levels within the organization through written and verbal communication, both formal and informal
• Strive to a global release cadence that defines the cycles and structures to deliver products and experiences to production
• Define and publish key metrics that demonstrate the efficiency of releases as well as areas of improvement for the Release management framework
• Working with SRE leadership team on objectives and deliverables
• Aligning Managers and Directors across Global Product on Release Management process
• Identifying risks, dependencies, and impacts early on in the lifecycle
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience within a technology organization in release & deployment management
• Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams and departments
• Firm knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Technical knowledge of software development and IT deployment
• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration and development (CI/CD) pipeline
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments and lead, be proactive, and drive change
• Experience documenting and implementing processes
• Experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence
• Understanding of technology infrastructure
