Responsibilities
-Develop and implement industry best practices related to reliability of the plant and help execute accordingly.
-Identify areas of weakness and help develop systems, tools, and technologies, which will enhance overall reliability of the plant.
-Help capture and analyze various KPI, such as MTBF, MTTR, Fault Codes, and make recommendations to enhance overall reliability of the plant.
-Perform RCA and make recommendations accordingly.
-Participate in Reliability Centred Maintenance exercises and ensuing outcomes (asset criticality, spare parts, and maintenance strategies).
-Work with the stakeholders and develop detailed written procedures and/or modify existing ones to align reliability requirements with operational needs, while meeting regulatory mandates.
- Participate in maintenance and reliability related project management activities.
-Supervise contractors as necessary.
-Communicate reliability needs and initiatives with stakeholders.
-Evaluate job feedback and make recommendations to improve future planned maintenance work.
-Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, Company policies, safety and environmental standards, and good housekeeping and Responsible Care® practices.
-Provide coverage for other maintenance staff as may be required.
-Perform other administrative assignments as required.
Qualifications
-Engineering degree in a relevant field with a Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation; currently registered with or eligible to register with EGBC.
-10 Years of experience in an industrial setting, with excellent exposure to maintenance and reliability, or operations in a process environment.
-Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), particularly SAP preferred.
-Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, organize and carry out work with minimal supervision
-Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with various levels of staff, external clients, and tradespeople on technical issues.
-Knowledge of pressure vessel regulations preferred.
