Our client is looking for a Repo Collateral Analyst for a 12 month contract in Toronto. This is hybrid role - 2 Days in Office - Mon & Tues but will mostly likely increase to 3 days eventually. There is a high possibility of contract extension up to 18months.
Pay rate: $24.09 - $32.85 / Hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5hours per week

Responsibilities
As a Repo Collateral Analyst, your duties will include but not limited to:
•Monitoring exposures to ensure collateralization of bilateral repo deals and triparty deals
•Facilitating repo margin calls for DSIN and company entities, resolve any trade flow breaks between Apex and ADP
•Monitoring exposure and execute margin calls for single entity margin counterparts as well as central book counterparts
•Tracking interest and facilitate monthly payment for all margin counterparts
•Ensuring all deals at the triparty are covered and keep front office informed of excess/shortfall
•Monitoring liquidity forecasting throughout the day to ensure coverage for unwind and escalate intraday funding where necessary
•Escalating and resolve any margin disputes with assistance of repo desk in a timely manner
•Reporting all unresolved margin disputes > 1MM to GRM Credit Risk team
•Tracking and reporting daily Repo Margin call metrics (number/ value of calls, disputes, fails)
•Provide vacation/back up coverage for fellow team members
•Reconciling exposures with counterparts to agree to calls in full, partial agree, or full dispute based on calculations
•Identifying and recommending areas of improvement
Qualifications
•1-2 years
•Required: Post-secondary education or equivalent
•Experience with Microsoft Office applications
•Collateral exp preferred, if not investment banking or operations could be considered
•Mostly using Excel - pivot tables, vlookups will be a good asset
•Takes initiative
•Attention to detail
•Analytical skills
