We are currently recruiting for a Property Administrator to join a growing team in the nonprofit industry in the heart of Downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized and able to prepare financial data.

Responsibilities
- Notify all related stakeholders f of any changes in rent due to changes in income or household composition
- Keep informed of changes in the Residential Tenancies Act, Housing Services Act, Human Rights Act and Rent Supplement program
- Undertake special projects as assigned by the manager
- Perform administrative duties as necessary
- Provides back up rent collection and deposit rents into the bank
- Maintain a good communication with housing staff and tenants
- Knowledge of tenant population, diversity issues, anti-discrimination practices
Qualifications
- Simplified RGI certification
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or accounting or related field or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience working in a diversified environment.
- Experience with Landlord and Tenant Board forms, processes, and legislation in relation to arrears.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, standards, and guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as organizational skills
- Certificates in First Aid, CPR, Crisis Prevention, and Intervention are an asset.
