Responsibilities
Working on new weld tooling and automated robotic welding equipment
Ability to troubleshoot jig and fixture issues
Development of MIG welding processes
Monitor and audit quality of welds
Working on complex and specialized projects manipulating robotics
Assist and support in all other technical areas, where required
Ensure all operator safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations
Maintain a clean and environmentally safe workshop and production lines.
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Strong practical and theoretical welding knowledge is required
Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics or related field, an asset
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Very strong attention to detail
Programming with Fanuc, Panasonic, and ABB robotic MIG welding systems
