    This is a contract position for a Project Manager Leader for our client who is in the Broader Public Sector. Work location will be North York and will involve a Hybrid Model with a number of days in the office a week at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

    The Contract runs for 6 months with some possibility of renewal when it runs out.

    Hours per day will be 7.25

    Responsibilities
    -Managing activities for responding to undertakings by OPS resources.
    -Provide IT contract subject matter support for responding to the undertakings.
    -Support the Crown Law Office Civil (CLOC) to clarify items and provide feednack to the responses of non-OPS resources.
    -Create regular and ad-hoc management reports for the status of the undertakings and activities.
    -Provides expertise to all aspects of the project(s) related to compliance with the established methodology
    -Co-ordinate and manage tasks related to the completion of integrated project schedules and activities. Establish and lead project governance activities including client-facing steering committees.
    -Provide regular written status reports.
    -Participate in status meetings as required working with a team comprised of both employees and consultants.
    -Ensure knowledge transfer to full-time staff.
    -Coordinate multiple project activities and task assignments
    -Maintain project plans and schedules
    -Maintain issues and risk logs
    -Provide status reports to steering committees
    -Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
    -Identify resolve and/or escalate issues as necessary
    -Adhere to all required corporate project management standards


    Qualifications
    -5+ years of providing project support required for Independent 3rd Party Reviews and Audit
    -5+ years of experience in complex business & IT issue management including analyzing, problem-solving and coordination and facilitation of issue resolution in a timely fashion
    -5+ years of experience with maintaining and managing project management documentation (e.g. project plan, project schedule, project budget, project change request, Project Charter, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), monitoring project performance and initiating corrective action, where required – for projects that followed both agile and traditional delivery approaches
    -5+ years of experience in project management of process improvement initiatives
    -5+ years of experience in the implementation of lessons learned within PM process
    -5+ years of experience with the implementation of new tools and processes within a project management office
    -3+ years in implementing User Focused delivery approaches within organizations
    -Experience working with agile methodologies
