    This is a contract position for a Database Developer for our client who is in the Broader Public Sector. Work location will be Downtown Toronto and will involve a Hybrid Model with a number of days in the office a week at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

    The Contract runs for 7 months with some possibility of renewal when it runs out.

    Hours per day will be 7.25

    Responsibilities
    Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
    Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
    Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

    Qualifications
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with MSSQL server to deliver ETL solutions
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience defining user requirements and designing application solutions
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with ETL development
    • Must be proficient in MSSQL Server 2014/2016 (or newer) and SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
