This is a contract position for a Database Administrator for our client who is in the Broader Public Sector. Work location will be in North York.
This is a Hybrid Role with 2 days in the office a week. This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.

Monthly Performance Status Report
Deliverables
· All deliverables that consultant worked on during past month are included
· Progress and specific accomplishment against the deliverable are described
· Status of consultant’s deliverable compared to the project Baseline

Task 2
Manage and administer the database and application servers used to support the Driver& Vehicle data quality analysis activities.
Deliverables
· Apply database and system patches and perform database change management activities
· Create, configure, reorganize, and migrate database / objects
· Conduct database capacity planning and database disaster recovery planning
· Design, test, and manage database backup and recovery
· Provide support for development and performance optimization of programs/jobs such as SQL*Loader jobs, data loading jobs, transformation/ETL jobs, PL/SQL & SQL scripts and Unix/Linus scripts etc
· Provide administration support on application server and the setup & development on IBM InfoSphere or Informatica Data Quality

Support the project delivery of data extraction, data analysis, data profiling and data cleansing of the Driver & Vehicle data.

· Support project related data extraction, profiling and data masking activities
· Liaise with project stakeholders to analyze data quality issues and provide root cause analysis
· Provide support for development and performance optimization of programs/jobs such as ETL, Perl, Java, Python and Machine Learning programs etc

According to the project schedule to be defined by the Project Manager and Technical
Coordinator
Task 4
Knowledge transfer to ministry staffs or resources designated by the ministry

· Documentations
· Walk-through sessions

Qualifications
Experience and knowledge with Siebel and PowerBI
Extensive experience in administrating Oracle 12c on Linux/Windows and database performance tuning
Experience with data quality technologies and tools such as Infosphere and Informatica and the installation of the tools
Experience in database migration, setup and management of on Premise, Cloud or Hybrid environments
Experience and proficient in ETL technology, tools and programming
Experience and proficient in developing PL/SQL, complex queries with SQL, Unix/Linux scripts (e.g. Perl), Excel and one or more other programming language
