Responsibilities
· Provide a comprehensive range of professional, clinical technical writing capabilities with ability to create/incorporate
graphics and visual aspects demonstrating key concepts of the Strategy and associated blueprints
· Interact with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand strategic vision, objectives,
direction and deliverables, to enable the creation of the document
· Translate primary and secondary research findings into meaningful descriptions for a range of audiences within
Ministry and the Medical/Imaging field
· Ensure compliance with Ontario Health documentation style guide
· Develop sound processes for internal document review and version control
· Contribute to progress reporting on Strategy development to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
· Minimum 7 years experience as a Clinical IT Writer working in electronic health-related projects
· Minimum 3 years experience as primary writer/editor of strategy documents and technical blueprints
· Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems used throughout the province of Ontario
· Experience with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) technology standard
· Experience working in the public sector, preferably in a health care setting.
