This is a contract position for a Technology Architect for our client who is in the Broader Public Sector. Work location will be in the Greater Toronto Area.
This is a Hybrid Role with some days in the office at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

Responsibilities
The Resource will act as a subject matter expert and SRE on a variety of network infrastructure projects initiatives. Some of these will include designing, supporting and configuring SDN networking, securing network, colo network design for KDC and supporting service delivery excellence. They will also assist with complex Cluster solutions that require enhanced integration with cloud services from a networking perspective and act as site reliability engineering from networking standpoint. There is a mandatory requirement of advanced networking certification for this senior role.
Responsibilities:
Solution, Design, improve and support the day to day operations of on-prem network infrastructure including integration and upkeep with cloud vendors.
Lead and Support migration to new hardware and software stack from L2 and L3 networking perspective.
Lead and Support LCM maturity by assisting in refresh strategy from networking perspective.
Lead the Performance and capacity management for switches, routers, IPAM and load balancers.
Design and lead Hybrid integration of on-premises and cloud-based systems.
lead process refinement, application performance improvements.
Lead networking and operations teams including Clusters with priority 1 incidents for mission critical applications as required.
Guide integration team to enable networking and pipeline service.
Qualifications
Advanced Active Net and/or VMWare Certification(s), Networking ACI and/or VMWare (NSX)
