Responsibilities
• Facilitate product owners’ product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, user personas and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces (universal design)
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to both core and new functions and features.
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
• Communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear and precise manner, providing useful visuals and summaries
• Provide interpretation, advice, and expertise to client groups and other stakeholders, including direction on how to transform analytics into actionable information and proactive insights that support decision making
• Develop strategies and actions to be a champion of change in support of customer value during all stages of projects – Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live or similar delivery methodologies
• Deliver on project deliverables with a balanced team (product owner, user experience designers, developers) by participating in Agile (SCRUM) delivery methodologies
• Facilitate design sessions with product owner, stakeholders, and developers
• Participate in sprint reviews
• Leverage use of online collaboration tools such as MIRO, Atlassian Confluence and Trello, Azure DevOPS, Microsoft Office 365, Google Drive, Zoom, Slack and Microsoft Teams
• Use mainstream prototyping tools such as Axure and Figma
Qualifications
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
3+ years of relevant experience in participating in complex projects (products) of different sizes, ensuring alignment to plans and practices and incorporating user centered design processes and agile (scrum) methodologies
Able to collaborate and communicate closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
