Responsibilities
· Leading the project team to work effectively and efficiently toward project objectives in a complex and diverse environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities to ensure high quality deliverables
· Leading technical teams by reviewing their work and resolving day to day issues
· Champions the agile / scrum framework to promote best practices and awareness to the project team, clients and/or stakeholders in order to ensure success
· Schedules and facilitates agile / scrum events such as sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
· Directs project teams to ensure project deliverables are delivered based on sprint / project goals, and adhere to quality standards
· Developing, maintaining and effectively executing integrated project plans throughout project lifecycle in accordance with OPS project management methodologies
· Developing and managing the project schedule, decomposing the project scope into measurable tasks, with responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and costs
· Identifying resource requirements and providing project resources/cost estimates
· Defining, clarifying roles and responsibilities and setting deliverables/quality/ performance expectations for project resources
· Resolving resourcing conflicts and negotiating changes to resourcing needs
· Collaborates with various internal or external service providers/partners to plan/align project dependencies and/or integrate solution components
· Proactively planning and prioritizing tasks effectively to respond to numerous and diverse challenges and demands
· Managing internal and external expectations in line with project critical success factors
· Communicating and controlling the scope, time and cost of the project to team members, clients and other stakeholders
· Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner
· Provides project status updates to support portfolio level reporting to multi-stakeholders at senior executive levels
· Identifies, analyses, prioritizes and communicates project risks for decision makers
· Collaborates and coaches product managers and product owners on backlog refinement/grooming
· Provides recommendations and mitigation strategies based on a detailed evaluation of risks and issues along with an understanding of the business implications
· Ensures documents are maintained in a shared repository and that knowledge is shared among team members
· Assists in the facilitation of team, vendor, and client meetings
· Communicates effectively to identify needs and evaluate solutions to complex business and technical issues
· Collaborates with Cluster staff, management, project resources and clients to resolve interdependencies between other projects/workstreams
· Providing inputs to the Cluster Staff in the development, maintenance and effective execution of the integrated project plans throughout project lifecycle in accordance with OPS project management methodologies
· Supports the Cluster staff in developing and managing the project schedule, decomposing the project scope into measurable tasks, with responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and costs
· Reporting on progress and provides timely status updates on assigned projects
Qualifications
5+ years demonstrated hands-on project coordination or administrative experience supporting project teams and/or management teams
5+ years coordinating and scheduling project activities, tasks and/or meetings
5+ years experience updating project materials, documents and spreadsheets with a strong attention to detail
