This is a contract position for a Project Manager Leader for our client who is in the Broader Public Sector. Work location will be in Downtown Toronto.
This is a Hybrid Role with 3 days in the office a week. This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.

Responsibilities
· Provide project management expertise to the Ministry oversight of OH’s planning and implementation of DHDR expansion.
· Liaise with Ontario Health (OH) to identify and manage project dependencies in alignment with broader electronic health record modernization.
· For each workstream, proactively manage approved plans with the OH project team, and work with relevant parties on risk mitigation strategies to ensure commitments and deliverables are completed as per approvals and stakeholder expectations.
· Facilitate multiple project work streams by following sound project management methodology, processes and procedures.
· Develop, maintain and regularly complete any reporting or dashboard tools as required.
· Develop and establish an integrated project plan with OH for the implementation of the DHDR expansion with input from other project team members.
· Develop reporting and communication materials as needed, including the consolidation of requirements in out-years to inform strategic planning and funding planning/requirements moving forward in subsequent project phases.
· Maintain up-to-date project schedule for MOH consumption and track project budget, schedule and deliverables using industry standard project management systems, tools and templates against the approved baselines.
· Prepare and present status reports and updates for any relevant steering committees, advisory panels, working groups, or similar governance bodies.
· Ensure OH’s DHDR migration to SmileCDR meets the DHDR expansion plan and targets for capturing/privately insured drug/pharmacy service data.
· Ensure project artefacts and deliverables reflect a superior understanding of:
o The primary care, acute care and pharmacy sectors, including the digital tools used in these settings and the opportunities to transform care and improve services through technology in these settings; and
o Strong knowledge of digital health systems and programs, including the use of pharmacy management systems and hospital information systems, to deliver care in innovative ways; and
o All relevant digital health/information technology issues, including policy, clinical / business and technical (e.g. interoperability, standards, licensing, operations and sustainment, etc.) requirements; and
o Private and public sector delivery partner capacity to deliver technology in a clinical setting; and
Best practices in information technology project management.
Qualifications
Health privacy knowledge and regulatory experience
Extensive experience managing complex projects with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery within approved plan, scope and budget and business outcomes , Strong working knowledge of project methodologies and standards (e.g. PMBOK) and tools (e.g. MS Project) Demonstrated ability to define objectives, develop strategic options analysis and to create action plans that outline tasks required for implementation phase
