Responsibilities
The Justice Technology Services - Digital Design Branch requires an application architect with design/development experience of IT solutions that utilize API and middleware platform(s) for cross-system integration to build and modernize infrastructure and solutions for Criminal Justice products and work on various application and integration endpoints.
DELIVERABLES:
Key deliverables will include:
• Design and Documentation – Lead creation of high-quality software design and documentation of SDLC phases
Assignment Deliverables:
• The application architect will be responsible for developing the overall architecture of the applications, including components, interfaces, and data structures. Work with various business and IT stakeholders to define integration architecture and obtain approvals from all stakeholders. Lead the development teams, provide guidance and technical leadership to ensure solutions are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Qualifications
As a Senior Applications Architect, you must have:
· At least 10 years of relevant experience
· Expertise in one of the leading cloud platforms. E.g., Azure
· Expertise in integrating applications using enterprise integration solutions e.g., IBM ACE, Azure services for integration, spring integration, etc.
· Expertise in create architecture artefacts like Information Architecture Design, Solution Architecture Design and Deployment Design for large scale cloud integration projects
· Expertise in implementing public cloud to public cloud integration, public cloud- OPS cloud integration and cloud (public and OPS) to on-premises integration
· Expert knowledge of data security and authentication platforms to secure ministry information assets
· Expert knowledge to assess and recommend architectural strategies
· Expert knowledge of criminal justice business processes
· Hands-on experience in IT solutions that support criminal justice systems
