Responsibilities
· Supervise the activities and dynamics of the IDMS Testing team to ensure effective working relationships and appropriate time utilization
· Ensure the QA team’s activities align with priorities and identify overlaps and gaps
· Ensure QA team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities and discharge them effectively
· Ensure high quality of all QA deliverables
· Identify QA-related risks and issues, ensuring proper assessment is conducted and appropriate mitigation strategies and activities are in place
· Coordinate with the IDMS Senior IT Project Manager to ensure scope and objectives are be met
· Escalate issues and concerns to the IDMS Senior IT Project Manager
· Secure agreement on the defined test scope; work closely with the IDMS Senior IT Project Manager to ensure the appropriate analysis and assessment of desired test scope is undertaken and scheduled
· Develop a Test Strategy document
· Develop the schedule for the QA activities on the project and ensure the schedule is maintained and, where required, that a controlled change management process is adhered to
· Work closely with the Dev Lead to ensure that:
o Risks and issues are managed and mitigated, as much as possible, before requiring escalation
o Design documentation is consumable and ready for Test analysis
o Release/build scope is communicated to QA team
o Schedule build timing to QA
o Defect triage assessments
o Developers are available, as required, to work with system testers
· Ensure that requirements are reviewed and related questions or concerns from the QA team are addressed by the Business in a timely manner
· Ensure that design documentation is reviewed and related questions or concerns from the QA team are addressed by the development team in a timely manner
· Ensure that QA documentation is delivered in a timely manner and reviewed as necessary
· Ensure QA team communicates defects to Business and development in a clear and concise manner
· Communicate testing completion to project team
· Provide detailed project monitoring and status reporting information to the IDMS Senior IT Project Manager
· Provide detailed estimates on time for QA-related activities
Lead daily stand-up or scrum meetings
Qualifications
Experience in proactively communicating project issues and risks for high-risk, high-profile and complex projects
Experience working with various testing tools such as Postman, Azure DevOps, AODA tools and test automation software
Demonstrated team player with excellent multi-tasking abilities and a proven track record for meeting strict deadlines
Nice to have: Healthcare experience
