Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager will work with various teams across Ontario Health to collect data and information to document, review, and assess the effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and value of identified products and services, including operational processes and related controls.
The Senior Project Manager will:
• Have the ability to take broad concepts and turn them into achievable plans and manage the plans from initiation through execution
• Be accountable for the collection, synthesis, documentation, and reporting of key data/information related to identified products and services, including operational processes and related controls
• Be accountable for on time, on budget, and on scope completion of assigned projects that are compliant with applicable external legislation and internal policies and procedures
• Manage the resources, scope, budget, schedule, and quality of deliverables of the assigned programs and/or projects
• Develop project documentation including project charter, project schedule, status reports, meeting notes, and other project artefacts as required
• Organize and lead project meetings
• Provide clear, concise, transparent, accurate, timely, and up-to-date status and other progress reports/presentations to Executives, Sponsor(s), stakeholders, the project team, and others as required
• Establish and maintain excellent working relationship and effective communication with project sponsors, internal and external stakeholders, and project team members
• Manage working relationship with delivery partners and facilitate resolution of problems, complaints, queries, and concerns
• Proactively identify and manage risks, and systematically resolve or escalate known issues
Qualifications
Must haves
8+ years of program and project management experience delivering large-scale, complex, and high-profile projects in a highly integrated public sector setting
Hands-on experience in clinical workflows
Experience working with clinical experts, program staff, and health care administrators
Superior Stakeholder management, working with C level management
Business, finance and risk experience
