Responsibilities
Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.
Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.
Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice within the organization.
Utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods, conduct research of user behaviours, digital needs and motivations
Design the research plan with clear objectives, targeting users based on their needs and challenges
Write usability discussion guides to moderate user research sessions and document responses
Take a user-centered design approach and analyze survey data to document recommendations based on the goals of the project and the needs of the users
Qualifications
Leads and conducts business analysis in order to assess client’s business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined
Develops strategies, prepares business cases and cost-benefit analysis, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives
Plans and tracks their deliverables to ensure timelines are met and the necessary risks are flagged early for resolution
Experience in designing online programs with emphasis in the emotional aspects of human experience
Experience collaborating with designers and stakeholders to understand business requirement
Experience making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong stakeholder management skills and has the ability to explain complex, technical concepts in plain language
Political Acuity and understands how to present to wide range of audiences including government executives, external stakeholders, etc.
