This is a Hybrid Role with 3 days in the office a week. This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.

Responsibilities
Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.
Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.
Prepares and advises on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice within the organization.
Analyzes government information pertinent to business architecture, consults with appropriate government contacts on specific business architecture elements and conducts focus group workshops.
Develops and maintains business capabilities of the enterprise in line with the corporate strategy as well as contributing to the business strategy and plans.
Develops/revises business architecture artefacts as part of the Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) Federated Framework and ensures that these are vertically integrated.
Models business at enterprise and/or core business levels.
This also includes:
Design of capability models and related architectural solutions of business tasks, mapping capability functionality to the internal and external resources,
Developing business transformation plans jointly with senior business management,
Handling business solutions to the delivery and operational business functions of the company
Developing and maintaining architectural governance and controls over implementation
For each step of the business transformation plan, business architects contribute in development of a blueprint of the enterprise in order to promote a common understanding of the organization and alignment of strategic objectives with tactical demands
Qualifications
Leads and conducts business analysis in order to assess client’s business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined
Applies re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost effective service delivery approaches
Develops strategies, prepares business cases and cost-benefit analysis, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives
Conducts business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects
Experience in the use of a range of technical tools to document conceptual requirements and scope
Plans and tracks their deliverables to ensure timelines are met and the necessary risks are flagged early for resolution
Able to manage multiple deliverables concurrently and prioritize workload, pivot based on business direction
Knowledge and experience with a wide range of methods, techniques and tools for business architecture such as, but not limited to: business functional modeling, service lifecycle modeling, business event modeling, business process mapping, value chain analysis, and other related disciplines;
Successfully completed business architectures in government settings or similar complex, multi-project/multi-client organizations;
Experience as a business architect, who has successfully modeled the business at the enterprise and/or core business levels for medium to large organizations
Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables/artefacts (e.g. models)
Knowledge of Zachman Framework including business / information / application / technology / security architectures
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong stakeholder management skills and has the ability to explain complex, technical concepts in plain language
Political Acuity and understands how to present to wide range of audiences including government executives, external stakeholders, etc.
