Responsibilities
The OBR Project is a modernization of the business registry service and replacement of a legacy application that is no longer supported. Business Registry service is a priority for the current government and part of the Ministry’s Multi Year Plan.
The Ontario Business Registry (OBR) Program needs an API/Web Services Technical Team Lead, which will perform and provide guidance to a team performing the following functions:
API testing for SOAP to REST conversion project
API and integration testing for MRAS
Testing of web services and integrations (BD, MOF, CRA) Catalyst application releases
Operational support for web services and integrations (BD, MOF, CRA)
Qualifications
Must Have:
Extensive experience with web-based transactional systems and standards-based web service technologies in an n-tier Java EE server environment, including XML, SOAP, WSDL, and ReST, ideally in the context of occupational and/or business registry systems.
In-depth experience with third-party API/web service testing tools such as ReadyAPI, SoapUI and Postman, including design/coding techniques such as schema validation, parameter passing, and Groovy scripting.
In-depth experience working with IBM API Connect gateway platform (or similar technology) as well as with PKI, standards-based certificates (X.509) and OpenID Connect (OIDC); excellent understanding of secure-by-design concepts.
HP ALM/JIRA and CI/CD tools & processes such as Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Ant and related tools
