This is a Hybrid Role with 3 days in the office a week. This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.

Responsibilities
1. Develop test strategies, test plans and test cases
2. Provide expert advice and develop test strategies and plans for all recommended types of testing, ensuring coverage using a requirements traceability matrix
3. Develop and execute test scenarios, manual test scripts and participate test data preparation
4. Manage defect identification, vendor defect resolution and defect tracking in Azure DevOps/VSTS
5. Leverage Azure DevOps/VSTS to provide testing status reporting and issue summary reports
6. Write Quality Assurance and Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures
7. Work closely with the Product Owner, Project Manager, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts to ensure QA deliverables match the project scope and timelines
8. Participate in defect review meetings and provide analysis as requested
9. Functional and non-functional testing
10. AODA Testing (WCAG 2.0. Compliance)
11. Mobile Testing
12. Security Testing
13. Test Data Management
14. Test Environment Management
15. Data migration testing
16. Other testing as required
Qualifications
Intermediate QA Specialists (Manual Testers) 4 roles:
1. 10+ years’ experience with quality control and assurance methodologies and practices as applied to the implementation of applications with over 10,000 users
2. 10+ years progressive QA experience on COTS and / or SaaS based systems
3. 10+ years’ experience designing, developing, writing and executing test cases catering to large application implementations
4. 10+ years’ experience triaging, analyzing, diagnosing / troubleshooting, evaluating options, and resolving quality assurance problems, ideally those related to identity and access management systems
5. Extensive experience with testing web apps and working with HAR files
6. Experience testing RESTful API implementations by using tools such as Postman Databases and the SQL Language, JSON, XML, XSLT and XML schemas
7. EAI principles and technologies and data transformation techniques
8. Experience with Accessibility Ontario Disability Act (AODA) testing by using tools such as WAVE
9. Experience in analyzing test results and submitting detail bug descriptions using defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps/VSTS
10. Experience with ITIL processes such as Service Level Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Capacity Management
11. Experience with testing tools, such as Azure DevOps / Visual Studio Team Server (VSTS)
12. Experience working with a large team comprising of the Product Owner, Project Manager, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts to ensure QA deliverables timelines are achieved
13. Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
