Responsibilities
1. Support of the ONe-key environments for DEV, UAT and Production, including Entrust GetAccess, Identity Guard, IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle LDAP and Database.
1.1 Troubleshooting OS and application issues, creating installation upgrading and build books.
1.2 Requesting and installing device certificates for ONe-key servers.
1.3 Monitoring the health, performance and status of service components (e.g. technology stack)
1.4 Starting and stopping service components; Backing up or recovering service components (e.g. associated data or configurations);
1.5 Tuning service components.
1.6 Maintaining service components (e.g. applying patches, renewing certificates or licenses);
1.7 Triaging, analysing, and resolving incidents related to ONe-key;
1.8 Identifying, analysing, and resolving problems related to ONe-key;
1.9 Assessing the impacts of changes on ONe-key, including changes raised by clients and service providers (e.g. ITS, CompuCom, Telus); and Documenting maintenance and support requirements and procedures.
2. Provide on-call support for the ONe-key production system 24 X 7.
2.1 Participate in incident management as an incident coordinator, incident analyst, or tier-2/ tier-3 SME.
2.2 Participate in change management as a change coordinator, change analyst or application SME.
2.3 Working with clients across the OPS and BPS to integrate their applications with ONe-key and GO Secure for access management (e.g. anonymous “authentication”, authorization) by performing tasks such as:
2.3.1 Creating database schemas;
2.3.2 Creating and maintaining web Service Admin LDAP accounts;
2.3.3 Deploying enrollment applications (via WebSphere) and PID plugin applications;
2.3.4 Configuration of GetAccess;
2.3.5 Configuration of ONe-key portal to present client application links;
2.3.6 Setting up of GetAccess Runtime and PID Filters on client webservers;
2.3.7 Configuring auto-redirecting according to client’s requirements;
2.3.8 Going on-site or remotely to assist client with installation and troubleshooting.
2.3.9 Identifying and resolving issues (incidents) related to the clients’ Production, UAT and Development systems involved with One-key;
2.3.10 Identifying and explaining technical issues, providing solutions to ONe-key clients (ministries and clusters).
2.3.11 Analyzing Clients technical requirements, designing solutions, describing patterns related to Integration
solutions;
2.3.12 Developing process and plans that support applications, construction, testing and deployment of solutions, analyzing and resolving issues encountered during Integration;
2.3.13 Developing utilities, scripts, applets, and reports to facilitate and automate the integration experience; and
3. Monitor the consumption and performance of the ONe-key service by:
3.1 Developing requirements for monitoring and reporting tools;
3.2 Evaluating and recommending tools;
3.3 Installing and configuring tools;
3.4 Developing, testing, and deploying programmatic constructs (e.g. scripts, queries, views, reports, procedures); and
3.5 Documenting maintenance and support requirements and procedures.
4. Improve the support posture of the ONe-key team by:
4.1 Developing requirements for support tools;
4.2 Evaluating and recommending tools;
4.3 Installing and configuring tool,
4.4 Developing, testing, and deploying programmatic constructs (e.g. scripts, queries, views, reports, procedures or other);
4.5 Documenting maintenance and support requirements and procedures.
5. Foster a team culture of excellence and innovation, including:
5.1 Developing or informing the development of role descriptions for the sustainment of ONe-key, especially
related to the technical support function;
5.2 Developing plans for the knowledge and skills transfer to OPS employees, including activities or tests to demonstrate the successful transfer of knowledge and attainment of required skills. OPS employees includes IT Source People Placement Service;
5.3 Developing plans for the transition of sustainment functions to OPS employees; and
5.4 Transferring knowledge to OPS employees.
Qualifications
1. 2+ years experience administering centralized Entrust based PMI (Permissions Management Infrastructure) /PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) systems, including extensive experience in the enforcement of security policies and practices.
2. 4+ years experience tuning the performance of large applications.
3. 2+ years experience with Nagios and other system monitoring tools (e.g. Big Brother).
4. Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
5. Knowledge of IT security technologies particularly encryption and authentication technologies such as PKI, PMI, and SSL.
