This is a Hybrid Role with 3 days in the office a week. This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.

Responsibilities
This Specialized IT Consultant will support the following areas.
In alignment with OH, provincial, national and international standards,
Review and revise the proposed RDM requirements and expectations.
Refine the prioritize capability roadmap for RDM.
Identify prerequisites and dependencies.
Affirm and document the assumptions and constraints of the role of RDM on intern/external stakeholders/systems (eg. TMS, DHAs, DD, etc)
Propose the reference data strategic plan with the specifics time-based objectives.
Draft the implementation plan that outlines the short-mid-long term activities needed to achieve the strategic objectives.
Review & assess existing decisions making bodies and their composition to recommend the proper oversight body(ies) for RDM governance.
Review, assess and revise the proposed RDM maturity model.
Communications with Architecture, Standards, Data Management, Data Services and Products to share information and support related internal engagement activities and collaboration.
Qualifications
Direct experience implementing reference data management (RDM) with established governance
Sound knowledge of provincial, national and international standards as it relates to reference data (not limited to health care)
Solid experience in defining reference data governance with people, policies, processes, and technology and establishing it with stewardship at an enterprise level
Experience working in the digital healthcare landscape in Ontario and Canada performing similar services.
Experience directing stakeholder consultation, facilitation, and consensus building.
Familiarity with expectations of information that clinical and non-clinical stakeholders may require in a master data dictionary to assist common data-literacy
Experience communicating and delivering presentations to stakeholders.
Experience with engagement leadership and expertise of large scale, complex, high profile, and high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional and/or enterprise wide in the digital health environment.
Knowledge and experience in healthcare interoperability and terminology standards.
Demonstrated experience with change management principles and methodology and successful implementation
